A Note to VOWS Partner Companies on COVID-19

Partners and Friends,

Veterans On Wall Street (VOWS) has a proud history of supporting our veterans and their families, and the current challenges we face with COVID-19 won’t change that. Our partnership started with the goal of helping more veterans find a future in the financial services industry – together, we have grown the VOWS consortium across the country and across industries to reflect the best of our respective companies and sectors.

As we face a host of challenging uncertainties and an uncharted road ahead, VOWS is committed to the health and safety of every partner, every veteran, and every teammate within our network. We support our partner companies in your respective efforts to ensure the health and welfare of your team members – with safety and caution in mind, we will not pursue events or gatherings under the VOWS banner until it is clear that we can do so safely.

In the interim, the VOWS network remains active and ready to assist. We will be scheduling a Task Force call in the coming weeks to discuss the current situation, solicit input and recommendations from partner firms, and talk about the way ahead. If you have recommendations, concerns or questions, please don’t hesitate to share them with us – we will be continuing our efforts, uninterrupted, to provide an active and engaged network for our partner firms and those veterans and transitioning service members who wish to join our ranks.

While we don’t know when the current challenges will be behind us, we remain steadfast in our commitment to the veteran community and will continue our planning for the 2020 VOWS Symposium and Stand Up for Heroes on November 9, 2020. Thank you for your continued support and commitment – together, we will display the same resilience and tenacity that we see in our veterans and their families.
