Our Mission

Provide a forum focused on military veterans where all Citi employees can share and grow their talents. Foster a culture of diversity, respect, leadership, professional development, recruiting, retention, networking, support and community outreach consistent with Citi business initiatives.


  • Promote awareness and education related to topics affecting military veterans personally and professionally
  • Provide professional development and mentoring programs for members and appropriate summer interns
  • Support community organizations benefiting military veteran interests consistent with business objectives
  • Assist the campus and lateral recruiting recruiting teams in appropriately vetting and interviewing candidates with military experience
  • Provide a support support network for employees with deployed friends or relatives

Community Service Updates

  • With the help of over 1,500 employees Citi was able to raise close to $400,000 for the Wounded Warrior project.
  • Members of the network visited the VA Hospital in Manhattan on a past Veterans Day. We crossed paths with Mets owner Fred Wilpon and Carlos Beltran.
  • The network coordinated a Holiday Package Drive with the Mayors Office. There were over 150 packages filled and sent to our local troops serving overseas.
  • In coordination with the Mets and with the help of over 30 Citi volunteers, several Wounded Warriors and a team from New York Cares over a thousand Thank You cards were filled out by Mets Fans and sent to our service men and women deployed overseas.

  • Hosted over 80 Veteran MBA students for career panel and forum to help them learn more about successfully transitioning from the Military to Corporate America
  • Participated in numerous Veterans job fairs and career panels across the country to seek talented veterans for internship and full time employment opportunities examples below
  • Harvard Armed Forces Alumni Association Career Panel (Boston, MA) in November 2010
  • Citi hosted a Military Veterans Networking Event (New York, NY) in November 2010
