2012 Veterans On Wall Street Conference

The one-day conference was held at the 60 Wall Street Atrium and Cipriani’s in New York City and convened Wall Street firms, industry participants, transitioning service members, recent veterans and their families, military and government leaders, military support organizations and others who have a shared interest in veterans employment opportunities. The conference rasied the profile of veterans on Wall Street and highlighted the financial services industry as a veteran-friendly employer.  The conference was sponsored entirely by the participating banks; attendance was free of charge, and contributions above conference cost  are allocated across a handful of established, national veterans-focused charitable organizations. Hiring Our Heroes - Manhattan

Simultaneous with the VOWS Conference, the U.S Chamber of Commerce, Department of Labor Veterans Employment and Training Service (DoL VETS), Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) and IAVA co-hosted a premier veterans hiring fair in the 60 Wall Street Atrium from 9:00am to 1:00pm. 100 local and national employers representing all industries looking to immediately fill positions in their corporations we able to meet veteran canidates on site.
